Sorry for the delayed post!
I've been pretty sick with some sort of cold/flu this week, it sucked the life out of me! But now I'm back in action.
I have always loved these Joe's Jeans flares. They are not only extremely comfortable but throwing on a pair of heels, I can be comfy and sophisticated. Make sure to keep a pair of the classics in your closet at all times - trousers, skinnies, and flares included - you never know when you might pull them out.
Now that I'm getting settled after the move, I'm trying to find a new balance of how I want to do life here. I constantly remind myself that if I don't "happen" to life, focusing on goals and creating the structure I need to live a purposeful life and thinking ahead, then my days will fill up quickly with other things demanding my attention. Every time you say "yes" to something, you have to remember that you're saying "no" to something else, whether you're aware of it or not. So in order to make every day work towards your priorities, it helps to write down a list, placing what matters to you most at the top of the list, down to the things that need to get done further down. And then schedule your life to have at least one meaningful priority happen every day. Whether that means a family dinner, a date with your husband, a brainstorming sesh for your future business, or some alone time on a hike, make sure you stay aware of what things you want to invest in that makes you feel alive and not let life toss you around with everyday "urgencies" that really aren't that important. Intentional prioritizing makes every moment count. And time is something we spend but can't get back!
Hope you're having a great weekend.
